1-29-26   THOUGHTS

We share some VICTORY verses this morning.  We move from BONDAGE to CHILD RELATIONSHIP...  Praise God!   God’s Son makes all the difference. The “Abba Father” terminology nothing short of awesome!  There is a tenderness in the Hebrew language here that shows God’s desire to be in a close relationship with YOU!  HE is DRAWING US... are we following?  God Spirit of God’s Son is in us CRYING...  God ADOPTED US.  We are HEIRS!  
Eph 1:13-14    In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation — having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
14  who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Gal 4:1-7    Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything,  2  but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father.  3  So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world.  4  But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5  so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6  Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" 7  Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son [daughter]; and if a son, then an heir through God.    

Our Prayer:
Thank You, O God and Father, that You have made us victorious children in Christ Jesus.  We long for the inheritance promised.  Keep our minds on the spiritual-eternal we pray.  May your Spirit be present in our lives to help us learn an “Abba” relationship with you.  You are God, thus we are blessed.  Praise be to our great Father God.  In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
